The Retirement Systems of Alabama (RSA) has real estate properties in three cities - Montgomery, Mobile, and New York City. The Montgomery properties consist of seven Class A office buildings with one under construction, six parking decks with one under construction, an early learning center, activity center, and a park. In Mobile, RSA owns one Class A office building and one Class A office building currently under renovation and two parking decks. The RSA also owns the largest office building in New York City, which includes an underground parking garage.
The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail
The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail came into being to boost the multibillion-dollar tourist industry in Alabama while creating a positive image of the state. The Trail consists of 11 sites, 26 courses, 468 holes, and 100 miles of golf. The Trail has helped attract industry to Alabama, which has in turn created thousands of jobs.
PCH Hotels & Resorts
The RTJ Golf Trail has added luxury hotels, spa and meeting facilities to its golf courses managed by PCH Hotels & Resorts. The Resort Collection has eight properties across Alabama, all flying the Marriott or Renaissance flags. Five of the eight properties received a four diamond rating from AAA. Five of the eight hotels also include spas with two ranked in the top ten internationally.
The RSA owns two residential properties: The Colony at the Grand in Point Clear and National Village at Grand National in the Auburn/Opelika area. The Colony is located on the historic grounds of the Grand Hotel. It is a luxury condominium residence unlike any you have seen on Mobile Bay. National Village has Craftsman-style homes and cottage homes on one of the most beautiful golf courses in the country.
